I have another human in mind with everything I create. The human experience is based in our stories and how they connect and intertwine. With each new story, I learn something about the other person(s), myself, and how we all need each other to live in the world. Through learning and visually sharing the stories of myself and others, I hope to ignite understanding and empathy.

Come with me.

Through my creations, as the editors of Black Art: An International Quarterly have so thoroughly stated, I aspire to “chronicle the heritage of our ancestors, encourage the [dialogue, inspiration, and] participation of our contemporaries, and enrich and leave a legacy of this time for our descendants” (Fall 1976 Edition).
